Veterans Advisory Committee
We wish to honor the memory of one of our former members, Dr. Ronald J. Hagadus. An Army World War II (and our only WWII vet) he was a treasured member of the Bedford community as well as his medical field.
The Veterans Advisory Committee was established by the Town Board to (1) advise the Board on matters relating to military veterans and their families and (2) raise awareness of and coordinate support for military veterans.
The committee works with veterans to navigate the local, state, Federal and many non-profit organizations which provide benefits and assistance.
The Committee will report periodically to the Town Board. Please contact the Committee by email at email@example.com if you need assistance, have questions, or would like to become involved with the Committee.
On June 15, 2019, we celebrated the dedication of the Veterans Memorial on the green in Katonah to honor the spirit, sacrifice, and commitment of the men and women from Bedford and around America who served in our military.
