Department Statement

The Bedford Recreation & Parks Department strives to enrich the lives of our residents by providing safe and welcoming parks, facilities, recreation programs and events for people of all ages. We work in partnership with our residents and in cooperation with other recreation service providers in the community in order to maximize all available resources. We are dedicated to building healthy communities and enriching the quality of life through people, parks and programs.

Our programs are open to all town of Bedford Residents. Only those registered in the class will be permitted to attend. Non-Residents may register–if the class is available to non-residents and with space permitting–for most programs after registration begins and by paying an additional 25% of the fee per program. We accept a limited number of school district non-resident children in our day camp programs. In addition, there are a limited number of non-resident family pool memberships available. Please call our office for more information.

Registration
Registration for all programs may be done in the recreation office, online or by mail with a check (made payable to “Town of Bedford”) and cannot be accepted by phone. Credit card transactions may be done in the office or online by signing into your Recreation account. (Please note: there may be a processing fee associated with credit card transactions.) We cannot be responsible for lost or misdirected mail.

Senior Adult Discount
Town of Bedford residents who are 65 years of age or older are eligible for a 50% discount on most programs.
