PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that based upon notices and health advisories issued by Federal, State and Local officials related to the COVID-19 virus, a special emergency meeting of the Town of Bedford Town Board meeting will be held on Friday, March 20, 2020 at 8:00 p.m., via videoconferencing, as permitted by the NYS Open Meetings Law. The meeting will also be physically held in the Courtroom in the Bedford Town Hall located at 321 Bedford Road, Bedford Hills, New York.

The Town Board members and a limited number of necessary Town representatives and employees will be permitted to attend the meeting in person. However, as permitted under the Governor of the State of New York’s Emergency Order Number 202.1, due to public health and safety concerns, the public will not be permitted to attend the meeting either at Bedford Town Hall or at any of the remote locations where the Town Board members will be situated.

PLEASE TAKE FURTHER NOTICE The Town Board’s agenda is available online in advance of meetings at www.bedfordny.gov, click on https://bedfordny.gov/meetings-agendas/.

PLEASE TAKE FURTHER NOTICE THAT, the videoconference will be accessible virtually by the public through the ZOOM meeting website at https://zoom.us/j/8679189653 and clicking on “Join a Meeting”, and enter meeting ID: 867-918-9653 (no password required).

INSTRUCTIONS TO ACCESS THE ZOOM MEETING – If you have a computer, tablet or smartphone, you can register, log in and see the video and hear the audio of the ZOOM videoconference. ZOOM’s chat facility will be available during the public hearing portions of the meeting.

çThe Town will provide brief instructions on using chat or speaking during the meeting. Please make sure you do the following to virtually access the meeting: On Friday evening log in with your computer or other device. You will be placed on hold until the meeting starts. You may be asked to allow video and audio access when you enter the meeting.

PLEASE TAKE FURTHER NOTICE that the public can also email written comments or questions on the day of the meeting or during the meeting, which email should be addressed to lfumagalli@bedfordny.gov.

PLEASE TAKE FURTHER NOTICE that the meeting can also be viewed live by going to the Town’s website – www.bedfordny.gov and clicking on “Town Board Meetings” and selecting the March 20, 2020 8PM meeting.

PLEASE TAKE FURTHER NOTICE, that any Executive Session of the Town Board may be initiated with the Town Board first convening the meeting either in person or through the public videoconferencing site, adopting a motion to go into Executive Session and then returning to the public meeting or videoconferencing site once the Executive Session has concluded.
