NOTICE OF COMPLETION OF THE 2021 TENTATIVE ASSESSMENT ROLL FOR REAL PROPERTY TAXES
NOTICE is hereby given, pursuant to Real Property Tax Law Section 506 and Section 526, that the ASSESSOR of the TOWN OF BEDFORD, Westchester County, New York will publish the 2021 Tentative Assessment Roll for the Town of Bedford on June 1st, 2021 and will be available on the town’s website at www.bedfordny.gov on the Assessor’s page at https://bedfordny.gov/assessor/
PLEASE TAKE FURTHER NOTICE, that due to the uncertainty of public access, beginning on June 1st, 2021 all Grievance Applications and verified written complaints stating the full value of the property and the reasons for the complaint MUST be filed with the Town Assessor on or before 8PM on JUNE 14th, 2021. Completed Grievance applications and supporting documentation can be submitted June 1st either by posted mail (preferred), or email at Assessor@bedfordny.gov or by fax (914)-864-0060.
PLEASE TAKE FURTHER NOTICE that the BOARD OF ASSESSMENT REVIEW (BAR) will meet either remotely by video conferencing and/or phone or in person on JUNE 15th, 2021. “GRIEVANCE DAY” at the Bedford Town House 321 Bedford Road, Bedford Hills, Town of Bedford, Westchester County, New York, depending on what is allowed by Executive Order at the time. If in-person meetings are allowed, the Board of Assessment Review will meet and hear and consider complaints in relation to real property assessments BY APPOINTMENT ONLY during the hours of 9:00 AM to 12:00 noon and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. The meeting will be held at the Bedford Town House, 321 Bedford Rd. Bedford Hills, NY 10507. All grievance applications must be submitted prior to scheduling an appointment with the BAR and before the adjournment of the Board of Assessment Review’s meeting on June 15th, 2021. Optionally, a grievant may schedule an appointment to present his or her case to the Board of Assessment Review. If so desired, you may schedule an appointment to speak to the BAR on Grievance Day by calling (914)-666-5149 Mon-Fri from 9AM to 4PM or emailing the request to Assessor@bedfordny.gov by June 14th. We will confirm your request and you will be given instructions and assigned a time slot.

If allowed, the Assessor will be in attendance of said Tentative Assessment Roll between the hours of 9:00AM-1:00PM and 5:00PM to 8:00PM on Monday June 7th; 9:00AM-1:00PM; Wednesday June 9th, 9:00AM-1:00PM Friday June 10th and 9:00AM-1:00PM Saturday June 12th.
