- The Highway Division is responsible for maintaining 128 miles of roads and roads and 14 miles of sidewalk. Employees plow snow, repair roads, install and maintain drainage systems, and maintain commuter parking lots and bridges throughout Bedford.
- The Water Division is responsible for the operation and maintenance of the Town’s four water districts.
- The Sewer Division oversees the installation of the new sewers and will manage their operations, maintenance, and billing.
- The Recycling Division oversees the Railroad Ave. Recycling Center, which is operated by an independent contractor.

The Recycling Division oversees the Adams Street Recycling Center, which is operated by an independent contractor.

2023 SHREDDER DATES

A Mobile Shredding Truck will securely destroy documents. Please observe the following: put all items to be shredded in the trunk of your car. We ask that cars line up from the Harris Road side and that you remain in your car while in the shredding line. Proshred personnel will remove the items from the trunk of your car and place the contents into a security bin for transport to the mobile shredding unit (the shred truck will be on-site). The company can shred paper, paper clips, rubber bands, staples and even the black clips. They cannot shred 3-ring binders, or anything that is non paper (CDs, tapes, DVDs, hard drives, etc.).
Proof of Town residency will be required :
A driver license, utility bill, or other acceptable identification.
