Programs

Our department offers a diverse and dynamic recreation program with activities for residents of all ages and during all seasons under the leadership of dedicated recreation professionals. Throughout the year, a variety of activities are offered in the areas of athletics and sports, music, art, dance, pre-school activities and special events. Other programs include nature classes, art, Lego building, mixed-martial arts, and more. For school-age children, we offer a wide variety of seasonal sports, crafts, holiday activities and special interest nights. In addition, we host school-break activities, safety classes, cooking, music lessons and more. For adults, we offer fitness classes and wellness classes, as well as defensive driving, dog agility classes and more.

Our programs are open to all town of Bedford Residents. Only those registered in a program will be permitted to attend. Non-Residents may register if the program is made available to non-residents and when space permits. Non-residents for most programs pay an additional 25% of the program fee. Town of Bedford residents who are 65 years of age or older are eligible for a 50% discount on most programs.

Registration for all programs may be done in the recreation office, online or by mail with a check (made payable to “Town of Bedford”).
