Volunteers are trained through a DEC program to track and assist frogs and salamanders to cross roads during the spring migration from upland forests to their breeding grounds, and ponds. Adults and children 14 and up accompanied by adults may participate after completing the volunteer waiver.
If you have been trained, remember to wear rain gear, reflective clothing, and bring a flashlight.
