Summer Town Camp
The Town of Bedford offers summer opportunities starting at three years old and continues until _______. Our camps are a traditional program where fun and ____ is at the core of each day. Each week is themed and different to add a special something to the day. Special events and entertainment are also added to make the summer special.
Summer Fun for All Ages
Tiny Tots Camp
This camp is held at one location and is open to children ages 3 - 5. Tiny Tots offers a half a day of fun structured play opportunity. Activities include arts and crafts, manipulative play, pretend play, music, physical movement and more. This program offers children the first taste of camp.
School Aged Day Camp
Our traditional day camp program is open to Pre-K* - 6th graders held at each of our hamlet parks. Campers enjoy a full day of outdoor fun, including but not limited to swimming lessons, art, athletics, free swim, group games, special theme days and more. Campers gain independence, try new activities, make new friends, create lasting memories and of course have fun!
* There is a limited number of PreK campers at each location. There is a lottery drawing for entry into the full day camp for PreK.
Teen Get-A- Way
Teen Get-A-Way is a five week day travel camp for students completing 6 - 8 grades. The camp offers a different adventure each day as we visit different places around our local area. Past trips have included The Caves, Bounce, Dave and Busters, baseball games, Broadway shows, Lake Compounce, fishing trips, Six Flags New England and more.
Counselor In Training (CIT'S)
The Counselor in Training program is for 9th and 10th graders who are not yet 16 years old. CIT’s work alongside camp counselors at the day camp or tiny tots camps and learn the camp program through hands-on experience. CIT’s are not paid and can take up to 5 days off for vacations or other camp programs.
